Cariboo Toastmasters is a local chapter of Toastmasters International which is a non-profit educational organization where members at all levels learn how to communicate more effectively or develop leadership skills. We are better described as a gathering of friends in a safe and supporting place for personal development and skills improvement.
Through local clubs like ours, Toastmasters International has helped its members to sharpen their speaking, listening, thinking, and leadership skills. These skills will not only foster better understanding, enhance your leadership potential, and promote your self-actualization, but will also help you to get ahead in the business world and help you become a leader in your community.
